That may be, but it seems that every new version of the program is now labeled as a "Security update", no matter what changes and fixes were made. Is this not true?
I wonder if it's worth asking that kind of question
"security" is to be taken in the broad sense of the term, even the fix of this version can be considered as security update.
So , as far I'm concerned ,I consider...

... as a security update regardless hight or low priority.
On the other hand, avast has chosen to display "security update" in its UI for program updates, so devs will not have fun changing this every time there is an update.
I prefer that avast looks at problems (they always have something to do) rather than a display for the pleasure of the eyes
