Well, doing an offline install while completely offline will, when done this way, give you a different outcome than if you were online while installing. Granted, if you have Windows 10, you are protected by Windows Defender and are safer doing this online than when installing on XP with no a/v installed. So, the option to install while online an a/v while running XP isn't a really safe option. To me, this shows how old XP really is and points to the fact it really needs to be put to bed.
I've seen fixes come in while online and installing vs. and when installing offline they don't. Only fix for is to run Avast EmUpdater/connect to the internet after install is done and/or reboot, which will automatically invoke EmpUdate anyway on restart.
