banner does not dissapear

Hi
I am using the free avast virusscanner and every time I go to the site of my bank to use online banking I get a banner to promote the use of bank modus. I do not use the avast browser, I use firefox and chrome. i do not want another browser with bank modus.
In this banner I have the possibility to tick a box that says not to show the banner again for the chosen website. As a result the banner disappears, but it appears again the next time I visit this website. It is very annoying. What can i do to make this banner dissapear forever?

@fsas: could it be that you have a browser extension installed which cleans your browser data at each startup? If so, I assume it cleans to much and it also clean the extension settings for this feature. Make sure you leave chrome.local.storage intact.
