Since update Avast blocked all my emails

Yesterday I spent ALL day from morning til evening, talking to my hosting company Support because all my emails suddenly were stopped with a 550 error that said "Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.... 550 This message was classified as SPAM and may not be delivered"

It was only when I followed their instructions to install Thunderbird and try from that, instead of Outlook, that - because of further error messages - I suspected Avast was blocked my emails. I turned the mail checking part of Avast off, and lo and behold, I could send emails again, as before.

If only the untraceable message from "system administrator" had told me it was AVAST blocking me, things would have been a lot less fraught, and i wouldn't have wasted a whole day chasing it up.
