Support?
« on: August 31, 2018, 03:02:04 PM »
I opened a support case (#07098354) but have not received any automated email confirmation that it is opened. Not sure what to do now.

After working properly since April, my VPN is now displaying the "Oops! SecureLine VPN is experiencing technical issues' message and I cannot start it. I have uninstalled it/reinstalled it several times, each time restarting my PC. I have also gone to the Task Manager to make sure no lingering component is running. Reinstalling it just gives me the same message.

I was able to install the stand-alone version from http://betasecureline.tools.avcdn.net/tools/avast/betasecureline/avast_secureline_setup_beta.exe and successfully run it, but I really want it to be integrated into my main Avast product.

My license is valid and has 250 days remaining. Any thoughts? All suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Download the stand alone version from here:
https://www.avast.com/en-us/secureline-vpn#pc
Running the standalone doesn't mean that it's not part of Avast.

I use the free version of Avast and am running the standalone version of SecureLine.

greenbergdan, the builtin version, soon, will be discontinued. You'll have to use the standalone version.  ;)

Asyn posted:

From the changelog: SecureLine VPN component won't be part of AV. User will be offered to install standalone VPN client independent from AV (staged release not for all users now)
