Secureline on iPad

I have Secureline on home PC - this is hard wired to router (not WiFi) and the VPN works perfectly.
However I have installed Secureline app to my iPad and apart from the first time use (successful) it now refuses to connect to the Internet - stating that my Wifi is a Trusted one, so will not connect.  It advises I should remove it - it then alludes that it will connect then.
But I have no wish to remove my home WiFi (and only WiFi) from my iPad - and I certainly don't wish to remove my Router data each time I need to use VPN - if I did can I get it back?

Is this normal?
