avast! support for Domino on the AS400

I need an antivirus solution for my Lotus Notes Server running on the AS/400.
Are you considering an antivirus solution of this environment?

Hi Jimz,

unfortunately, at this moment, the avast Domino module is Windows-only. We ARE considering a port to other platforms but even if it decide to do it, it will take at least 9-12 month to implement it and test it.

So, if your need is rather urgent, I'm afraid you'll have to look for another product.

Hello,

Another solution (just to be sure that nothing infected enters or leaves your location) would be to put a relaying Mail server between the AS400 and the Internet / Firewall.
As the cheapes solution, you could use a linux machine with any popular MTA and get Avast for Linux edition (Licensing per mailbox).
