I allowed Avast to remove  a 'Bad' FireFox (61.0.2) AddOn (NetFlix) and after doing so, Avast Destroyed my browser Session! Only one of my browser windows came back.  ALL OTHERS were GONE!  There were a bunch of new windows opened and duplicates of one window that did come back.

Is this a widespread problem allowing Avast to remove a FireFox AddOn or somehow Avast doesn't account for certain browser Sessions or what?   Can I recover my last 'Big', multi-window session, including my Main browser window that had over 700 Tabs?

Thanks.

I closed FireFox and restarted it.  I got all my 8 browser windows back and closed some excess windows Avast had left.  I hope Avast has or will fix this.

I had something similar myself. Avast flagged Trusteer Endpoint Protection Firefox AddOn as bad. I just set flag to skip removal. False positive for sure, but got round it.
