Greetings - How do we keep the setting for "internet connection sharing mode" set from the admin console? This allows us to file share and will turn off after many hours. This is located in the Preferences section of the Firewall Policy Settings screen. This isn't found in the admin console.
After reading this: Internet Connection Sharing mode: allows a trusted user to connect to the internet through your PC, or to troubleshoot problems with devices, such as your printer, connected to the internet via your PC. Ticking this option opens certain ports which are usually closed, decreasing the level of security. always untick this option when the user no longer needs access to your internet connection or you finish troubleshooting.
This option isn't the best option for file sharing, but with it turned off we can't access files, despite the "Allow Windows File Sharing" enabled option.
