I've been using this firefox plugin
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-thumbnail-rating-bar/ and I occasionally get a message from avast, "unreputable browser plugin detected." I'm guessing that the plugin is sending data about what youtube page I'm on, but without more information from Avast I can't decide whether or not I should remove the plugin. If it's just sending data that's necessary to provide the service then that's fine, but is there something else it's doing that's more sinister that I should know about?
