Which is your operational system?
Any other antivirus or security program installed in this computer?
Which is your Standard Shield sensitivity level? High or Normal?
Do you have that much programs automatically starting at logon time?

I don't know how to access standard shield to see what the sensitivity settings are.
Left click the 'a' blue icon.
Click on the buttom 'Details'.
Find Standard Shield icon at left and click it...

Does it help if you stop the Web Shield provider temporarily?
