Automatic Renewal Cancellation
« on: October 30, 2018, 12:49:48 AM »
I would like to cancel my autorenewal subscriptions as I was sent an email by avast notifying me that they'd charge me in a few days time.

I went to avast.com/find-order, sign-in, and cancel the feature (Automatic-Renewal) but the feature to do so was not there.

I tried to cancel it from my.avast.com and it said they couldn't cancel my auto-renewal subcription. I tried calling your number and it did not work. Please cancel the subscription for the order IDs 24474217808 as I do not wish to continue using avast.

Regards.

If you are unable to cancel it in time you should be able to seek a refund and cancel the auto renewal.

I do not wish to seek a refund. I simply want it cancelled. I followed the steps and clicked cancel on your site and it said it can't cancel. I escalated it to your support team and I just want someone on here to check and ensure that it's been cancelled.

Given that there is only a short time (as you have been notified) the auto payment may go through.  The link I gave has a lot more information (including cancellation), not just seeking a refund.

Most of the people 'here' are avast users like yourself, I will try to draw some attention to it.

Hi alfred3000prime, I can confirm that the autorenewal subscriptions for both trial products associated with your email address registered on the forum are cancelled. You should be receiving emails confirming this from our distributor (Digital River). You can continue to use the trial products until they expire.

Hi. The same thing happens to me too Alfred3000prime. I try to cancel the autorenewal subscriptions for both trial products, but the system returns that an error has occurred.

Hi dogamail, I can only see one trial product associated with your email address registered on the forum. I can confirm that you had cancelled the autorenewal yesterday already, but you should now receive an email confirming this from our distributor (Digital River) today. You can continue to use the trial product until it expires. Please let me know if you had any other trials registered to another email address.
