Avast Online Security Extentention

Hi everyone,

sorry to worry you but I have just returned to using AVAST FREE ANTIVIRUS and so far so good.
I am using Avast Free Version 18.6.2349.

My OS is Windows 10 Home 1803.

My questions are to do with the Avast Online Security Extention for Microsoft Edge Browser.

1.I have installed it, but the Avast Online Security Icon is greyed out with a green dot with a white number in the green dot, is this normal?

2. When I do type something in the search box there are no ticks to tell me that the website is safe, the only thing I get is a grey symbol with a white question mark in it saying avast Online Security this site has no rating.
Is the avsast Online Security Extention working or faulty?
When I  typed in Avast Webforums again it came up with this site has no rating.

It doesn't function as well in the Edge browser as it does in either Chrome or Firefox.

As an Avast user like you, I can't answer that question. I have forwarded this topic to Avast.
Let's hope that gets us some answers.
