trouble with accessng certain web site pages
« on: July 17, 2006, 02:46:00 PM »
Hi,
Just wondering if someone could please help me.  I have recently set up my notebook computer and just got connected to dial up internet. For some reason there are certain web sites - such as yahoo email and msn chat that I cannot get access to. When I attempt to get into the pages it appears to attempt and the heading is the only section of the page that appears (the rest of the screen is white).

I was wondering if this problem might have been caused by the following: When I was on the net the other day a pop up mesg came up with something to do with giving me two options 1 being to view the web page with pictures or without as it was not a secure site and the pics could contain a virus.  I chose without, now I think maybe it has now defaulted as setting. Could anybody please shed some light on this little problem please?
