Avast Business Antivirus loses connection to Internet

We have had an issue arise over the past few weeks where several client machines are unable to connect to Internet or experience intermittent Internet connectivity. When we shut off the local Avast Client the machine connects right away. A reboot does not resolve the issue. We ended up reinstalling a fresh client on the machine having issues and this seems to resolve the problem. With 2300 endpoints uninstalling and reinstalling a client (if this becomes a larger problem) is not easily done. Has anyone seen a similar issue? Is there a bug in any of the recent client updates released within the last few weeks?
