problem with e_mail provider

Ciao a tutti
before all I want to excuseme to everyone for my bad english..
now this the problem:

every time I start Outlook I see the windows of the Avast e-mail provider loading status and i see a icon on the task-bar.......  this is ok!
Now an error is occoured in Outlook, the message is something about this:

- an error is occoured and the application Avast e-mail provider can not be open, if you want to open try in the Outlook option menù .....

but I don't found anything in the Outlook option menù ... to restore the Avast e-mail provider

Now I can see the 'loading' window also the icon on the task-bar

please help me!!!

i've tried to reinstall Avast but nothing happened

If you are talking about outlook and not outlook express then I believe you need to enable the plugin..  Hopefully someone who uses Outlook will be along soon with more details

Do you use any other antivirus in this computer? Like AVG or ClamWin?
Are you using Windows XP?

Internet Mail provider scans emails from Outlook Express.
Full Outlook in scanned by the Outlook / Exchange provider.

i'm using xp pro + sp2 & sygate personal firewall

i'm not use any other antivirus

Make sure the avast plugin is not disabled into MS Outlook:

Outlook 2003 > Help > About > Disabled items
Outlook 2000 > Tools menu > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Add-In Manager.
