How to disable OneDrive for windows 10 version 1803 64 bit home

I'm just passing along the information. I personally use One Drive and find it useful.

the .dat file was downloaded and installed, having translated itself into German automatically.  It performed as expected and I opened the Windows component file with its 2 lists - advanced and standard. In neither will you find the word "onedrive" in any configuration.
It seems as if, according to Smart Scan, that 'onedrive' was uninstalled by me successfully after all, when I followed the right-click instructions after I found the Onedrive Desktop App 2 days ago.
Thanks to you I now have a tool for dealing with 'onedrive' or anything else unwanted, should I need to. Much obliged.

I attach the 2 files I found for your interest (I doubt if the German presents much of a problem).

Ha, I only wanted to disable it. Thought that CCleaner Start-up function did the job, but when it popped up on the Windows Start search I uninstalled it, as 'disable' wasn't available..
What happens if I discover that I want it back? I bet you know the answer.

Many thanks for that option .  It may prove that my knee-jerk reaction was pointless. You never know.
My rule of thumb is to keep a device running as fast as possible for its main purpose, which involves having a few tab-filled browser windows open constantly for cross-referencing while using a rather resource hungry software that is indispensable for work. If the browser is slow I lose concentration
