Avast behavior shield blocking many programs and ignoring exclusions

Hi, after a restart I've been having a lot of trouble with the avast behavior shield. So much so that I had to turn it off. It started blocking legit programs like steam, discord, and chrome. I added it to the exclusions using the pop-up that comes up and that did nothing. I added the exclusions manually and it still ignores the exclusions and blocks the program. I restarted multiple times and made sure the exclusions were correct. Any help? Thanks in advance.

I tried the one exclusion on discord as suggested by the pop up. I then added the whole folder. Then I tried one and not the other and vice versa. I tried both. Restarted after every change and still no luck. I've scanned with malwarebytes and windows defender with avast off and done an avast scan and they have found nothing.
