After Update 18.8.4084.0 unsecapp.exe is always running on windows 7.

I monitor the running processes pretty often and this is new, searching online it seems tied to Avast but it's a normal windows process, is there a new component or something causing this?  I'd just like some transparency if an update is causing some new process to be running.

It seems related to the Cleanup Module which somehow got reinstalled on my system again despite constantly uninstalling it.

In the past/over time I have used the"Clean Install" process with avastclear.exe (uninstall tool) to rectify anomalies such as this.
Always do a 'custom install' to uncheck components you don't want or use.

I don't have (and have never had) Cleanup, but unsecapp started running on my Win 7 x64 box after updating to AIS 18.7.2354.

Interesting as that .exe is also apparent in Win 10 however, isn't always running. Properties: System commit 1.3mb
Appears to be dormant.

Same.Always on.Cleaner was never installed.Never uses CPU tho and only uses 2,440 k of memory.Just out of curiosity.Have you guys ever noticed avastui.exe 32 sometimes constantly running at 1% usage?Like... I have to restart my pc for it to close.Usually comes up if my pc was up for a long time.Doesn't always happen.Maybe once every 2 days.I find it wierd because usually either it keeps popping up and going back to hiding or not show up at all while im watching streams/playing games.... wondering if it's related somehow(This last bit I think is how normally the programme should act)

Running Windows 10 and process is running - but this process is not using any cpu.  Nothing to worry about.

It was running in my XP and win10 systems and whilst it didn't use any CPU activity, AvastSvc.exe was in my case (winXP system) using a lot of CPU.  This only seemed to appear after the 18.6 version and someone posted that they believe it was associated to the behaviour shield.  If this is the case then the behaviour shield would be under the control of the main avast service, AvastSvc.exe and that was what

I'm not having this issue on my win10 system, unsecapp.exe is running but I'm not experiencing cpu spikes by AvastSvc.exe.

This is why I went back to avast version 18.5.2342, no unsecapp.exe running and so fare no cpu spikes by AvastSvc.exe.

its now the behavior sheild launch the proccess, which is process i dont like running to opens up security isses, I gona check and see if there is setting in behavior component that is triggering this...

If behavior component  is turn off the unsecapp.exe does't appear. It started after update 18.6.2349 and it is not repaired today !

It is running on my Win7 PC that has the Avast Behavior Shield operating. It is not running on the PC that does not have the Behavior Shield operating.
