It was called Avast signature.

In this particular case, it's the same setting. In the "old" settings, the same checkbox was in two places - first in Mail Shield settings, second (easier to reach) on the main page of settings.

Hi Igor
The issue is that there is still an "Avast Signature" being placed on outgoing emails that there seems to be NO SETTING that I can find to "Disable" the signature if I so choose.
Please clarify......where is the setting???

This signature is being attached:  "This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software.

As DavidR suggested the setting may have been change to "insert note into clean message (outgoing)"
As my screenshot demonstrates in post #6 I don't have that option checked

It was called Avast signature.

Thanks, it has been some considerable time since I used this function, when its only location was in the Mail Shield settings.

Well I've resolved my own confusion.
The "Enable Avast email signature" box/option is not present in the 'beta' version of Avast GUI but is present in the stable version (which runs on my XP).
HOWEVER, the attaching of the email signature is still functional in the 'beta' version now with no way to disable. (Certainly no way I've noticed)

Avast finally waked up and did full 64 bit version, while other AV vendors has it over decade. Good job!

Thanks a pile Asyn, I wasn't totally concerned having Avast Email Signature I just wish if an email recipient clicked on it I'd get credit..... ;D

I totally missed that "little" option as I investigated the GUI ;)

Can anybody check that avastsvc.exe does not write 97 bytes ([info] message) to "C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\log\AvastSvc.log" every second in this beta version?

how do you like the new system for exceptions/exclusions ? have your exceptions been migrated correctly? is it ok that there is just one list?
