I have been living with this crypto miner for a couple of months with avast daily putting in my virus chest, but now it has accelerated to showing a pop up every couple of minutes. How do I actually get rid of it?

Well having looked more closely at the screenshot I posted I saw that it showed the file location, so I deleted that and... so far so good it seems to have gone. Touch wood.

No more messages have popped up since doing the requested scans. Is there any feedback from malware experts? Or any needed?
