Woulnt it be logical to consider a progress bar or percentage done readout as a way of making the gui more user friendly.
The lack of this information strikes me as the one area where Avast! differs from almost all other scanners.

That could be the reason of my first post... I consider it an advantage and not a handicap of avast.
Anyway, we won't find a unique opinion about this  8)
