avast new features works smoothly. It consumes less windows resources and It has a very fast scanner. Thumbs up for it. It must keep on that way! A good piece of cake! AV scanner cannot be a "Heavy trunk" because It could be compared to a kind of virus! Have a nice day! Best Regards.

Program update?
Are you using the beta version?
Or you're talking about detection (virus database update)?
