Right click scan too fast?
« on: December 15, 2018, 01:19:09 AM »
Hello,
I jut noticed when i scan single file from explorer (right click -  which should be as deep as possible) scan takes only one sec. For example Nvdia driver installer which has about 500MB was scanned in one sec. In test history i see 500MB scanned, duration 1 sec. That cannot be normal.
Some time ago scanning driver takes about 30 sec.

Avast Free 18.8.2356
Win 7 64 bit

Update:
Today i tried it again, now scan was long so Avast probably extacted files from SFX archive. Test history now says 2,6GB scanned.

So still understand this behaviour, one day one sec scan (500MB scanned) , other day 30 sec scan for the same file (2,6GB scanned). Any explanation?
