What I like to ask is...
1. If I check the box 'Enable site blocking', is it an automatic action when web shield finds something wrong(like the previous version), or it only blocks those sites that I add in the 'blocked websites list"?
2. If the answer to question 1 is the latter one, what will web shield do when it detects some unsafe websites? How could I set its actions?

Thank you very much.

recently tried this version for a few days
I think it's heavier than than version last year
I don't like the new setting UI. I think the old one is easier to tweak

in the new UI, there is no way to enable PUP protection. It's only possible when opened the old UI in troubleshooting menu
I also have installed avast to see what is going on (most of the time i use AVG) and yes its a big change, but from what i see in settings PUP/PUA is enabled by default now ?
Intel® i3 Quad-Core @4,3 GHZ. RAM: 16GB ddr4 || SSD 500 GB || Windows 11 Home x64 || Chromium user.

While the new update looks great and seems to use less computer resources, which also is good.

But.. Avast has starting killing my games, i try to run a steam game, Avast flag it as a virus and kills it.
same game never had any issues before the update, and while this is an Early Access game things like this shouldn't happen.

i tried adding my entire steam folder under exceptions, did not help.
added the game itself in exceptions, did not help.

changed settings to "Ask before doing anything", it still kept killing and deleting the game .exe

is there a way to downgrade the version?
i've used Avast for many years, but if it's starting to kill my games i'll rather remove Avast and install something else tbh.

Best regards
Zangiry

Seem to be having a problem with bank mode in new version. Although all updates installed the bank mode icon in security and privacy centre in blanked out requesting "update antivirus" ????
Actually at this point you open 3 dots>More Tools>Extensions and select Bank Mode extension.  Turn that extension on, it is off by default.

MS Outlook add-in asOutExt.dll is no longer working. I have two PS's running Outlook 2007 and Windows 10. We seem to have this same problem every time you do a major UPDATE.

I was experiencing the same problem with ASB and I solved it using your suggestion. But it was not this way before, and I wonder why is this happening now.

That's the bug, but all you've to do is end the ASB session (close the browser) and start a new one and there it is again.....  Same steps again to re-enable every time...

Found an unclickable setting, well you wouldn't want to turn it off anyway but still...

Maybe because you can't have "advanced threat detection" unless you enable "Behavior Shield".
