Cannot login, company has proxy with authentication

Hi, company where I work uses a proxy with user authentication.
avast can download updates for the virus definitions, but somehow I cannot log in to Avast Passwords to sync across multiple devices. After a few seconds (probably timeout) I get a cannot connect error message. User and pwd are the right ones.

So I guess Avast Password is not syncing using the proxy settings which can be set when updating the virus definitions in Avast?
