how to halt a full scan
« on: January 05, 2019, 05:08:32 PM »
I use Avast 19.1.2360 (Build 19.1.4142.0) with Windows 7/64 for protection.
A full scan runs about 5 hours and I cannot use my system for real work. Some applications go very slow, some cannot even start.
The only way I find to come back to a useful system is breaking down the scan.
Is there a solution to halt scans for a while and continue it later?

Thanks for help.
