Hello,

I am hoping that someone on here can help me with a problem I have been having since upgrading to the internet security. I have used Avast Free for years and have not noticed an issue until recently. When I try to change proxy settings either in internet options or through windows options I could not change the proxy settings at all. The issue I am having is that my computer is no longer auto detecting the proxy settings or allowing any type of proxy settings through user input and I am experiencing random disconnects from my router with both wired and wireless connections. I know it is not the router or ISP as all my other devices do not disconnect. I found a way to re-enable the WinHTTP service in windows and now the proxy settings Freeze when trying to open them and do not respond. I also noticed that Avast will not open now also which I thought was really strange. Has anyone else had this issue and have found a way to fix the issue or a workaround or is this something I am going to have to deal with if I want to continue to use Avast. I play online games and when i get disconnected i lose progress so it is becoming quite frustrating. Thanks to anyone who can help.
I am running Win 10 home, all up to date. I am running the latest version of Avast also.
