1. Number of viruses detected -- well, avast is doing its best to catch'em all! :) I mean, if we're talking about in-the-wild viruses and worms (the ones that you have a chance to ever see), it's really 100%. We're also trying to detect as much Trojans as possible (this feature will even get better in the future)

2. You don't have to purchase the program immediately... Why don't you take advantage of our try-before-buy offer? You have 60 days (2 months) to decide whether you like avast or not -- just go ahead and install it - when asked for a license key, hit the Demo button...

The best antivirus: features, automatic updates, incremental updates, fully configurable, best help and support, excellent and fast forum...

Do I need to talk more?  ;D

the feedback indeed is amazing,...unique i would say, cause i have never noticed this before.  Install the trial, check it out :)

- Twice a week updates on virusdatabase and/or program updates (or more)
- Multi-language support
- Excellent feedback, forum, email,...
- Low memory usage (if you have an older machine)
- program split up in 'providers' so you can deceide what you use or not
-...
