I have been utilizing the workaround suggested to us after Avast Secure Browser started exhibiting similar behaviors. That all started right after the program update on January 4, 2019. I have noticed in the past that Bank Mode would always use tab browsing, in which I mean that if i choose a hyperlink in a current tab, a new tab would open in response, which is the correct and safe response. Now, Bank Mode behaves just like any browser and stays within the same tab after I choose a hyperlink, unless I right click, and specifically tell it to 'Open in a new tab'. Until Avast comes up with a clean program update, I will not use Bank Mode under any circumstances. Cmon guys, let's go!!!
