Internet Security Browser Add-on detection

Latest version on a Win 10 64bit and Firefox browser.  Avast advises of disreputable add-ons (I only have 2 and one is Avast) and on allowing it to fix the problem gives me a completely blank window (Avast application).  I have to close it manually.
