Go Back to old interface December 2018
« on: January 18, 2019, 09:26:41 PM »
I do Not like the new interface at all, Far Too much digging and I am constantly switching to old under troubleshooting to find settings I need.
I do Not have time to constantly search for options.
How do I set it permanently to the user interface from December 2018
Thank you.

I don't think that's possible since switching to old settings isn't going to be there for any length of time.

The 2 interfaces seem to conflict with each other.
Since the updated interface I have been having a lot of connection issues.
I use Proton VPN, I tried adding to Exclusions but that did not help.
I spent an hour getting Avast and Proton VPN to cooperate.
I have even tried a reset but it never seems to actually reset to original Fresh install.
Now it is hit and miss for my password on Avast.
I have 2 passwords one for stored passwords ( Long ) and a short one for Settings which I made.
But it seems to have held the old password as well.
Is the code available or is it closed source.
Thanks

Avast isn't open source.

The new interface seems to remove the ability to fine tune the antivirus and firewall.
I have not found a way to properly control the new version yet.
Very disappointing.
I was a huge fan.
Unless I figure out how to fine tune the new version before my subscription runs out  I have will be shopping for a new Antivirus / Firewall.
That is not a rub just stating my requirements.
Thank you very much "bob3160" for the help.

Windows 7 through 10 comes with an excellent firewall. :)
