false virus detection (virus chest)
« on: January 23, 2019, 11:46:31 PM »
My avast has falsely detected a .exe file that starts a game, and has moved it to the virus chest.
 1) How do i move the file back where it belongs?
 2) How do I keep avast from moving it again?

In case more info is needed.
the game is played out of  my steam account and is combatarms.
the name of  the file is Engine.exe
that's the file that starts the game.
avast has moved that file to the virus chest.

Test the file at VT (https://www.virustotal.com) and post the link to the result here.
