Avast doesn't detect malware virus like Bonga Cam or Xmr.Omine
« on: February 11, 2019, 04:26:09 PM »
Hello! I have been with serious trouble in my computer. Almost every time I open a new tab and enter some website, I have the alert by Avast that it has blocked some virus, called xmr.omine. However, it never truly detects and eliminates this threat, since it continues coming back.

Other thing that keeps coming back is an adware (or malware, I'm not sure) called Bonga Cams, in which a small ad window pops up exhibiting some porn images, and Avast never even detected it. I feel that somehow, both Bonga and Xmr.omine are related, but I can't make them disappear from my life! Please, could anyone help me?

Post screenshot of avast popup warning

Have you turned on avast PUP detection ?   (default off)

Have you run a scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware ?

Have you run a scan with Malwarebytes AdwCleaner ?
