Email sign in/out
« on: February 03, 2019, 12:30:38 AM »
I almost never had to sign in to my email on this browser until fairly recently. Probably something was updated and changed settings.  Is there something i can do to automatically sign me in to my(gmail) email when i open the browser and click on the link?  There is no "remember me" box to check when i sign in and i have not found anything in my quick searching around.

What version number of ASB?

ASB does auto-update periodically for security purposes, maybe you should go into Settings to see what changed.
Windows 10 Home 64-bit 22H2 Avast Premier Security version 24.1.6099 (build 24.1.88821.762)  UI version 1.0.797
 UI version 1.0.788.  Windows 11 Home 23H2 - Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Avast Premier Security version 24.2.6105 (build 24.1.8918.827) UI version 1.0.801

Version 71.0.1037.99.  I could go to sEttings and look but i would not know what changes unless i had previously visited and kept notes!
I will however look at the settings and see what i can change.

Here you go:   ;)

Use your mouse to:

Click 3 Dots Upper Right>Settings>(scroll down) Click Advanced.  Clicking Advanced will expand the current window, set the first option to OFF, default is ON.  Close your browser to set the new setting in place.

Likely what happened is your version of ASB automatically updated to the latest version 71.0.1037.99.  When that happened some settings were set back to default.

[EDIT:]  Sorry to say, but I do not auto-sign in so you may see the setting set to OFF instead....Turn ON...
