I can find old settings but not geek area. Any clues?
Reaching the Avast "Geek" area
Open the Avast User Interface
Select > Menu > Settings> Search
Type the following into the Search window: geek:area
Now hit enter and close the Search Window
You are now seeing all the settings available in the "Geek Area"

Geek:area does not have the same Action seetings as were in "old settings". e.g. Repair>Move to Chest> but do not delete.
Auto would do Repair>Move to Chest>Delete in that order.
Luckily "old settings" are still available (for now), but the crude choice of 1 action only and no action tree in geek:area is far inferior to what is(was) available in old settings. I do not see how it will be possible to replicate settings as above in geek:area gong forward.

As for Smart Scan components in geek:area, there is no tick box to select/deselect "Senstive Data scan".
Not surprised.

I installed an update on my free AVAST  and am no not able to log on to my computer>  Fortunately, I could still get in as "Guest", but have no access to my documents and other folders. As Administrator, I am unable to manage the control panel, or anything else requiring Administrator sign in.

I'd try rebooting the computer to see if that makes a difference

The controls for setting up a scheduled scan are still missing in this version  - 19.2.2364 (build 19.2.4186.404).
I tried the geek:area and old settings, but they are not there. I realize that I can create a custom scan on a schedule, but that's not the point. I want the old "scheduled scan" settings back for all scans.

Please, for the love of all that is good an holy in this world, remove the @#$% pop ups within chrome web browser for the password extension.  I mean seriously?  I am browsing a page, and all of a sudden a new tab opens, pushing your password extension in chrome?

The Release Notes on the first page of this topic are only showing http sources for offline versions of 19.2.2364. Usually the https "versions" can be found at https:/www.avast.com/installation-files, but so far only the prior version 19.1.4142 is available there. Will 19.2.2364 eventually be available via https there or somewhere else?
