The Release Notes on the first page of this topic are only showing http sources for offline versions of 19.2.2364. Usually the https "versions" can be found at https:/www.avast.com/installation-files, but so far only the prior version 19.1.4142 is available there. Will 19.2.2364 eventually be available via https there or somewhere else?

@Asyn, thank you for the reply. It took me a few minutes to figure out you had just edited those 2010 posts so I figured it was worth a chance to click on the appropriate entry, esp since I could recognize the English descriptions (thanks for that!). However, when the Save File confirmation window came up, it identified the file as "from: http://iavs9x.avg.u.avcdn.net" not "https:...", even though the link you provided started with "https:". Did I choose the wrong link??

I just installed the latest version, 19.1.2364, which I thought (hoped) would fix the ability to change the scan time set two versions ago.

The cog wheel and the time of that previously set scan no longer appears under "Full Virus Scan," but that time that I no longer want still remains, hidden, somewhere, The latest update did not remove any previously set scan times, nor is there an ability to change it or delete it that I can find.

I found that out tonight when I set a new custom scan to occur prior to midnight, only to have the set time from two versions ago kick in at 1:30 a.m.  I thought no cog wheel and/or evidence of a previously set scan time meant any previously set time was gone so we can just set up a new custom scan.

I have looked through every possible option where scans are involved, and find no place that shows that previously set time, nor how to delete or change it.  It is alive and well, but hidden somewhere out of view or clickable edit.

So right now, I had to delete the new (earlier) custom scan time so that I don't run two scans within two hours of each other.

So, back to the drawing board, please.

Can we just have the cog wheel back that shows the time when you hovered over it, but with the ability to click the time or the cog wheel so we can just change the set time of the scan that now seems to exist but is hidden away from view and edit?

Or if it is not somewhere editable under the SCAN section, can someone tell me where I can find the hidden set scan time previously set two versions ago so that I can change it, or delete it and then set up a new custom scan?

Thanks.

I recently updated to 19.2.2364. Ever since doing this, the install of Additional Boot Scan Definitions for a boot scan is now taking forever. It used to take about 1 minute, maybe 2 at the most. Now it takes 20-30 minutes or more. I believe the delay is on the Avast "cloud" side. I am seeing this on different PCs, all running Win10/Pro/64. There is nothing wrong with my LAN and my WAN download speeds approach 100mb/sec. Once the definitions finally download and install, all else works fine. If I'm right above, others should be seeing this.

Note to Avast: your verification text characters are often IMPOSSIBLE to read and your "listen to the letters" option doesn't work.

I am also waiting on a fix for the missing scheduled scan settings that used to be in prior versions. See https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=225096.msg1493722#msg1493722. I first noticed this issue in version 19.1.2360 and posted in that thread at the time. It seems that this new version still doesn't have the fix baked in.

Yes, Bob, I checked Windows Task Scheduler, but nothing at all for Avast appears there.

But thanks for the suggestion.
