Hi Avast
not sure what info you need so could someone please advise.
back story.
gaming Clevo laptop which is roughly 7 years old. win 7 pro SP1 64bit
avast premier with just over 1 year licence before renewal.
my laptop has never had any issues since the day i bought it almost 7 years ago.
today has been the first ever BSOD and only since the latest 19.2.2364 build 19.2.4186.404 update.
opened avast to run a regular full scan. showed there was an update to load so i let it update. restart popup as always and after a restart bang, bsod and only way to carry on was a hard turn off.
downloaded who crashed and these were the dump reports:

This was probably caused by the following module: aswnetsec.sys (aswNetSec+0x3F9F9)

Most often this is caused by a software problem (kernel stack overflow) but this can also be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: aswnetsec.sys (Avast Firewall Driver, AVAST Software).

The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.
this happened 3 times so i rolled back 2 days with a system restore.
avast is still showing the latest version though.
since the first crash a few hours ago i can now no longer open (dont shout at me) nord vpn. up until this latest avast update it has opened and picked a server on startup without issues. now every time it opens it black screens and i have to hard turn off again. the latest dump reports above are after the latest black screen.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
