Why No Kill Switch For Avast VPN?

(1/2) > >>

Marty2332:
A kill switch has been requested for many years from Avast VPN users.

@rysan from the Avast team said they are "analysing it". That was in 2017 https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=209344.0.

Has this analysis been completed?

I don't understand why Avast VPN doesn't have a kill switch when virtually all other VPNs offer this option?

Leo50:
Yes it's really ridiculous and counterproductive especially in 2018 and again in 2019!

Surely because they are waiting to see how many customers come to the forum on this topic to know if it's worth it. But in reality everyone is talking about other forums, in search ggl and potential customers are already gone !!

Leo50:
FORTUNATLY after sooooooooooooooo many Years and 6000 topics on this forum, Avast secureline VPN have today with the new update a KILL SWITCH !!!!

I don't know where you come up with the 6000 topics stat from and were they all specifically asking for a Kill Switch.

WK_schnarfl:
Because they do not listen on purpose to any customer!
