Install Specialized Defiinitions for Boot Time Scan never stops

Yesterday I reinstalled Avast Free Antivirus.
Uninstalled from Control Panel. Then used Avast Clean Tool.
Reinstalled using file downloaded from Avast website.
Everything seems perfect. Updated Virus Definitions and Application.
Standard Scans all run.
BUT  !!!
If I try to install Specialized Definitions for Boot Time Scan it never stops. The bar moves and moves. No messge appears that Specialized Definitions are installed. It seems to be in a never ending loop.
Internet connection is OK, Virus Definitions and Application update.
BUT  -  NOT the spezialized definitions  -  never stops!
Thanks for any help and suggestions.
