Hi everyone, thanks for reporting the issue, it has been fixed. Clicking on "update" on the results screen should help.

A kind of trivial mistake - there was an incorrect "timestamp" within the updated version of virus definitions.

I am currently (2/19) having the same problem. I click on "resolve", it says updating virus definitions and nothing happens. When I click on "settings" and "update" it says my definitions are current as of 2/3/19.

Hi, this problem was fixed in version 6.16 - please update your Avast Mobile Security app, it should solve the issue.

@Paula84: What Avast Mobile Security app version are you using? (Menu > Settings > About)
