Why did you disable Hardened Mode?

Dear Avast,

Why did you disable/turn off Hardened Mode on ALL of my clients computers?  This is a HUGE security risk.  I now have to go through hundreds of computers and turn it back on.  I mean who does that?????  It is so irresponsible!
