CHKDLL.DLL
« on: July 31, 2006, 06:25:42 AM »
Hi everybody !

I installed tonight Avast home version and it found that my file CHKDLL.DLL is infected.  This file give access to Internet Explorer so if I put this file into quarantine or delete it, I won't have access to Internet anymore.  Well I suspected that this file was infected as everytime I was going on Internet, my page was redirected to page, offering (offering is a big word, as they don't give the choice...!) to download kind of software named, if I remember well, Winantivrus 2006.

Any suggestion about what I should do ?

Thanks in advance !

 :)  Hi :

It appears you have a very bad piece of SPYWARE on your
computer !? I recommend you go to the forums of your
antiSPYWARE Provider to ask for help; if you know of
none, I recommend the forums at www.landzdown.com .
