Issue with Smile Always?
« on: February 18, 2019, 02:16:18 PM »
I use an extension with Chrome, to redirect from Amazon to Amazon Smile, called Smile Always.
Recently, Avast has started blocking sites with Mal:URL hxxp://amazonforum.com with one example being Snopes.
Disabling the extension stops the issue, but I was just wondering if there's an issue or if it's an FP.

No problem here using https://smile.amazon.com/ to pass along a small donation when purchasing items via Amazon.

Sorry about the typo.
I had no problems with the smile.amazon.co.uk website, but rather other websites. I had originally suspected my extension (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/smile-always/jgpmhnmjbhgkhpbgelalfpplebgfjmbf), as it stopped as soon as I disabled it. I'm not sure anymore.
Perhaps a poisoned advert?

Looking at source of one of the pages shows this:
Code: [Select]
Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET hxxps://ps.l.admedo.com/e7b7041f-8d65-4024-9168-fd38b9a62669.json
Log doesn't show much info.
Neither do the notifications, but I'll include the bit of log here, and attach the screenshot of the notification.
