How to unblock System and Host Process

When checking under Privacy in Avast desktop I noticed that System and Host Process for Windows Services are both Blocked.  Should they be unblocked and how do I do it?

Nope.

Assuming you have either Avast Internet Security or Avast Premier (you don't say) you'd have the Avast Firewall.

That firewall is set to automatically block your computer from being a server for unwanted Internet connections.  See this site for a fuller explanation:  https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Proceed to the next page to see what Avast Firewall blocks (under File Sharing) and click that category.

You'd not really want others to access all your personal files, pictures, financial data, etc.,. if your system was allowed to be a server, so best to leave things alone. 

If connectivity in your home network is an issue (you don't say) set your firewall to Private and reboot.
