Avast is automatically renewing a years subscription i cancelled in 2018 and so without my consent been debiting £49.99 in subsequent years, i find this fraudulent and will have to report this incident to my Bank

We always send out an email before automatically renewing a subscription and on the day of renewal.
According to your system, you only unsubscribed from Avast Cleanup Premium Oct 2020.

I am have security premium.  I made a mistake and asked for cleanup thinking its free.  I found out after downloading and installing that it cost money.  I have not activated or paid.  I can't get rid of the application because it says it's open.  I have tried everything.  Uninstall instructions are useless because I can't get to options/menus because it isn't activated.  You MUST give people warning that something is going to cost extra and you MUST add an item to the uninstall screen for "How to uninstall app if installed but not activated".  Why do you choose to make your customers angry by doing sneaky things?
