Hi, I'd like to cancel my Avast Cleanup trial, but there's no button to resign or cancel before the end of the trial... Is that a joke? How can you offer a free trial, and then prevent the clients who tried it to cancel this trial if they don't wish to continue?

Hello, I'm sorry but I received this morning an email telling me that I'll be charged 39,99€ for the conversion of my trial into automatic subscription!

How can this be? At the same time as your email telling me this morning "The trial period is still valid until tomorrow so you can still enjoy our product until then"

I even received a bill for this on my account, with an order number, whereas I've never ordered anything, and I'm trying for 3 days to stop everything.

I'll block any withdraw at my bank, but please can you make what is necessary to stop this masquarade??? And stop my Avast Premium Security trial as well... Or I'll have to get legal.

For your info, if you continue like this you'll soon have no customers anymore. On Trustpilot you fell down the 2 stars, and in the French version 95% of the last 30 comments are 1 star!!!

Hello,

We've canceled your subscription for Avast Premium Security as per your request. I can also confirm that the renewal of Avast Cleanup Premium was canceled and will be refunded.

The date of expiration and the date of charge for the renewal are not the same as the charge usually happens several days prior to license expiration. To avoid being charged you can cancel the subscription as this will only stop the upcoming charge from happening while the license will be valid until the expiration date.
The date of the next charge is available in the subscription menu in the product itself as well as Avast order portal and Avast account.

To cancel your subscription you can use the Avast customer portal:  https://www.avast.com/find-order
If you register with the same email address as you have used for activating the trial you can also use your Avast account from the website https://subscriptions.avast.com/ to cancel your subscription.
Last option is to contact Avast support where they can cancel your subscription as well: https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/enter

I have double-checked this and I made a mistake here. In this case, the expiration date of the trial was 19th February and not 21st February. The expiration date of the trial was written in the email sent by Digital River after the first activation of the 60 days trial license.

I've also checked how the trials are charged and the renewal is charged on the day of expiration so the info I have provided in the previous message wasn't correct and I am sorry about this.
Subscription of Avast Premium Security was canceled and charge for Avast Cleanup Premium will still be refunded as stated in previous message.
