What is wrong with Software updater?

Software updater is absolutely broken in latest Avast version (19.2). It no longer inform me what version I am using, only shows latest version which Avast known.
I have installed CCleaner 5.54 and WinRar 5.70 but Avast tell me All programs are updated CCleaner 5.53, WinRar 5.61. And this last now for couple of days.
Is here any reason why Avast no longer inform me what version I have installed?
Also if you are not able update your database of those programs, you should remove this function completely. Software updater which not show actual versions...

 I need to add to that as  to what is  wrong with the  updater per  se ?

Program  set to automatic  update  but    it does not do any automatic  update  and  just had to   update  manually again   recently ran  a  'repair' of the   product  but  that too has  not   solved the problem

The program  should  automatically  update so  what has  failed  ??  It  neither  updates    the  version nor the   virus  database

This  has  been  going  on for  months  now and  is  getting  frustrating  so is there a  problem   with the   product itself??
