I have installed Avast Passwords on my (newly formatted) MacBook Pro 2017 with High Sierra. It worked flawlessly under the previous Sierra OS. But now it keeps crashing when I try to open it. I am getting the error message "Avast Passwords has quit unexpectedly. Click "open again" in order to open the application. Click "Report" to view details and send a report to Apple."
I should add that the Password feature included in the Avast Security application doesn't work either: when clicking on "Open", nothing happens.
BTW I have set the System Setting for Security and Privacy to allow applications from known developers.
And also, I have tried to uninstall and install again, restarted my Macbook etc etc. for the past hour or so.
