Dear Avast,
Unfortunately I've encountered a very serious problem. I installed avast on my windows pc, I had it installed on my mac after reading rave reviews.
For some reason, it locked me out my HDD mid Cubase session not allowing me to save the current project.
I closed it down and restarted my computer hoping to fix the problem but it made it unbelievably worse.
My computer restarted and my Core Assessment folder, containing all my coursework for college, due in tomorrow, had disappeared.
It then turns out all my current musical projects have been wiped. Countless songs for record labels I was in the process of negotiating with.
I've lost everything.
I don't know what you can do other than apologise and fix this SEVERE ISSUE!
Really sad and feel betrayed
